Abstract

In the endless change of the industrialization, we have a concenses that multiplized and various social problem solving is limited in government policy and the concern in volunteering services is increasing in basis on civil obligation and rensponsibility.
Volunteering services have important meaning not only satisfaction in national society wellfair but also individual satisfaction in volunteering service.
If the subject of volunteering service is adopted in curriculum, it will be helpeful to set good of life and the canons of moral value to realize the civil responsibility in community, to broden the experience field through the meeting with each other and to have the opportunity for self actualization and self growth for young man.
If the subject of the social volunteering service will be open in Red Cross junior college of Nursing which was established on humanity mission that will be in pioneer charge of social volunteering service expansion.
The method of curriculum operation to experience the social volunteering service was revealed as follows ;
1. Social volunteering service subject is 32 hours and 1 credit and it will be managed as a cultural and essential subject.
2. Social volunteering service subject will be open 1st semester in sophemore class and student can experience this subject of optional day during a week or vacation.
3. Student can choice the institude which has been adopted by the school or apporoved by the committement of school affairs.
4. Evaluation of the volunteering service activity was consist of activity hours (60 % ), diary
and self evaluation (20 % ), and discussion report(20% ). Student can pass if the score will be over 80 % and the method of evaluation is pass or fail.
5. Volunteering service subject will be managed in regular sequance to select the institution by the school, to application the institution by the student, to dicision the institution, to practice the volunteering service and to evaluate.
6. The program of practice the volunteering service was consist of recongnition program, un, derstanding program, practice program and evaluation program.
Suggestions basis on study result are as follows;
1. It is nessesary to integrate curriculum development related to History Red Cross.
2. It is nessesary to exploit the nursing professional institution and to cultivate for ability development.
3. It is nessesary to manufacture the textbook for education and regular survey for volunteering service activities and evaluation continously.
4. It should be considered ability, talent and time limit of voluntering service worker and actual condition in institution, coordination facilities are nessesary to share the information in volunteering service worker and institution.
5. Institutional system is necessary to solve the problem in occuring during volunteering service activity.
